Op 6 september 2018 vindt in de Fokker Terminal in Den Haag, de traditionele GASDAG plaats, opnieuw gezamenlijk georganiseerd door NOGEPA en CIEP. Het werk aan een energie- en klimaatakkoord houdt ons allen bezig. Het doel van een nagenoeg CO2 neutraal energiesysteem lijkt daarbij synoniem te staan aan “van het gas af”. Is dat wensdenken of werkelijkheid? En hoe verhoudt de nationale aanpak zich tot de ontwikkelingen op de Europese en internationale gasmarkt? Welke ontwikkelingen in de gasvraag zien we in de landen om ons heen? Waartoe leidt het energie- en klimaatakkoord, welke energiedragers worden belangrijk en hoe kan de gasindustrie bijdragen aan de energietransitie met haar competenties en assets? Deze en meer onderwerpen staan centraal op de NOGEPA-CIEP Gasdag op 6 september 2018.

On 6 September 2018, the annual Gas Day will take place at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague, again jointly organized by NOGEPA and CIEP. Work on the energy and climate agreement is involves many of us. The purpose of a virtually CO2 neutral energy system currently seems to be synonymous with “completely backing out of natural gas”. Is that wishful thinking or a reality? Moreover, how does the current national approach relate to the European and international gas market? How is gas demand developing in neighboring countries? Where will the energy and climate agreement take us, which energy carriers are predicted to be important and how can the gas industry contribute with its specific competences and assets to a successful transition? This, amongst other topics, will be central during the NOGEPA-CIEP Gas Day on the 6 September, 2018.
